HOUSTON TRAILBLAZERS BUSINESS & PROFESSIONAL WOMEN'S CLUB, INC.

LeadershipEntrepreneurshipPhilanthropy

The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.

--- Coretta Scott King
The Houston Trailblazers Business and Professional Women club of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women's Clubs, Inc. was chartered on May 10, 2025. We are a dynamic group of Professional African-American Women who pride ourselves on our dedication to the community and support for our fellow professional African-American women. We are servant leaders. Our organization has a phenomenal youth component. The adult group mentors young adults (ages 12-18) and teaches them how to become community leaders. They are given real life opportunities in which to implement what they are taught while being respected by their peers at the same time. Our young adults are the embodiment of the future professional business women and men.

Our Legacy, Our Mission: Empowering African American Women Since 1935

In 1935, seven visionary women came together with a shared purpose: to promote and protect the interests of African American business and professional women. These founders—bold, determined, and forward-thinking—laid the foundation for what has become the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women's Clubs, Inc. (NANBPWC, Inc.). Their mission was clear: to promote and protect the interests of African American business and professional women, to serve as a bridge for young people seeking to enter business and the professions, and to improve the quality of life in the local and global communities.

Today, nearly 90 years later, that mission remains as vital and urgent as ever. The challenges may have evolved, but the need to support and elevate African American business and professional women is just as critical now as it was then. Our founders' vision inspires us to push boundaries, break barriers, and create opportunities for future generations of leaders through community service, social activism and mentorship. Join one of our NANBPWC Youth or Beta-Psi Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Technology programs to embark on a journey of self-discovery and building connections!
